Your MESSAGING superpower is
Activation
You know how to make people move. One word out of your mouth, they’ve joined the gym, stopped smoking, and even blocked their ex who ‘still loves them.’ There’s something about you that when people are in your presence they feel motivated, alive, and on fire. Some might say you’re magical. Others might say you’re destined to be a coach. But everyone says they remember you. It’s physically impossible for you to water yourself down and blend in. What. A. Freakin’. Asset.
This superpower means
Creating interesting content and fun copy is pretty easy for you. You have a hot take, so you get a spicy carousel up. Not much to it.
You don’t blend in. If someone has a couple of touchpoints with your brand, you’re in their mind. If you meet someone at a networking event, they’re flagging you down 2 weeks later because they see you on the street.
You create very strong marketing campaigns. Your email open rates are high. You can hook people in with your ads. Story views are strong. Your podcast is poppin’ off. People want you in their world (and probably in their collab folder and publications too).
Activation
People probably tell you
You changed my life with that sentence.
You are so cool.
I want to keep up with your life.
Something about you makes me wanna buy whatever you’re selling.
Idk why but I’m in love with you.
Biggest weakness
‘Lucy, how can a brand like this possibly have a weakness?’
Here’s the thing. You’re kind of a one in a million brand. To be activating is such an asset when it comes to branding and marketing– you’re someone who can really go far. I’m not saying that to blow smoke up your booty. I’m saying that because if you’re not where you want to be right now when it comes to impact, visibility, sales, and growth– you have so many raw materials to get there with relative ease.
Your weakness probably is in the realm of favoring hot takes over clearly differentiating yourself. Of focusing too much on the vibe and not enough on the customer journey. And being so fun when you show up, but maybe less fun when you sell.
Find that gap, the world won’t be the same.
Room for expansion
If you can maintain this activation, which you can because duh you’re the embodiment of magnetic and charismatic while filling some of the gaps mentioned above then you’ll be living in a very different business.
Here’s what I’d do if I were you:
Get out there wayyyy more. You’re the person people can’t help but remember, but they need to at least have a touchpoint with your brand. Pitch podcasts. Go to conferences. Go LIVE once a week. Be everywhere.
Focus on the boring clarity parts of your brand. What’s your offer suite? Does it make sense? Are any offers competing with each other? How can you tie in vibes when you’re directly selling these offers?
Get really clear on your core message and go all in on THAT. Because when you’re everyone’s fav and the ‘fun, spicy one’ it can make your brand messaging unfocused, meaning people WANT to buy from you but they don’t know what they’re buying.
Next Step
I’m gonna do something kinda radical.
I’m 98% sure you’re my ideal client and if you were in my world, I could turn your business into the unicorn by shaping your messaging. That means competition would fall away and YOU would be the choice whenever someone needs your speciality. You’d shape the entire industry. You’d be untouchable.
